Hiccups
I'll try my best to cover all the bases ...
Essentially, I get hiccups when doing long rides and they come on about 4 hours in. It is likely to be food or drink related and being long rides I obviosuly need to have a nutrition plan. I normally have a high carb breakfast (bread, cereal) and then have played with just water, suger only drinks, complex carb drinks, gels, powerbars, flapjacks etc. all of which don't seem to help. Solids however seem to make it predictable, hence a lot of effort trying with drinks only.
Once I have them, I will have them until I lay down and relax (not the best thing to do beside the road!). This is sometimes 6-8 hours later.
Any ideas?
Thanks Stew
