Well worth it if you really want it and can't get it anywhere else! Too expensive for me but I don't want an expensive Hetchins anyway.0

depends if you're ready to join the owners club.

it's too small, so that's me saved from marimonal disharmony
but what would œ800 buy you in a new bike shop? something cheap, taiwanese and best regarded as disposable, IMHO[:0]
on the other hand, it'd buy a few beautiful secondhand bikes.[;)]
or ten x 23speed, dual suspension mountainbikes in halfords[xx(]
it'll sell, is my guess...but to someone with more money than sense[:p]0 -

Undoubtedly true, but most of those who'd pay the 800 don't really *get* classic stuff I suspect!
I reckon it'll go to maybe 1250 quid - just the pricing strategy that might go against it?

Gavin that is a real beauty if I had the money I would buy it!0

It's nice enough - but not 2 grands worth IMO. I've bought nicer for a tenth!
And if that's *worth* 2K then the Hetch IS a good deal at the BIN!

OTOH...I've been looking at it more closely and in the context of Threads in e.g. Beginners (2 grand frames) and Know How, I have to say that RELATIVELY speaking it is well worth the BIN. And if I were going to spend that sort of money on either a new bike or the Hetch, then it would be the latter.

Seems so: nil bids!
