OT:Ford Focus

Anyone got a Ford Focus?
If so, how much "play" do you have in the accelerator pedal.I.E does it move side to side and are you able to move the pedal up and down freely or does it feel stiff?

    I have one. Great car.

    Not noticed any play but I can check when I get home if you want.

    slight side to side 'float', no stiffness on my '07 Diesel estate.

    I have a 2000 model. No play on accelerator. It has been very reliable unlike my first car, a Cortina.

    No play on my accelerator pedal, but the clutch pedal return spring did break a while back - had to get a whole new actuator fitted [:o] Fortunately it's a company car so I drove around in a Focus Titanium for a bit until they got my Zetec fixed. Other than that it has been a nice drive. Shame I couldn't get the company to spring for a Thule bike rack though [:(]
