Everyone doping does not even the playing field
According to Jef d'Hont, who probably knows a lot more than most forum members about doping.
On Ullrich:
"If they had all been clean, then Ullrich would have won the Tour 10 times. At least!"
On Riis:
"He became famous, because he doped. Otherwise he was just an average rider."

Ok, Riis he may be right, but I cannot see how he can possibly judge of Ullrich. The guy came through the East European system and sounds like he's always raced with EPO assistance. Didn't Boardman tell a story of being in the Midi Libre and passing a big bloated Ullrich on a climb, yet a month later he was ripping it up in the TdF - Let me guess, diet and a bit of training?0

Diet, training and few early nights perhaps...(no raves)
I think Ulle really was in another league when fit- Pity he was complacent and lazy for most of the season!!!!0
