Zefal HPX. Best pump out there.

Yes, that's why it's the best at blowing up tyres to high pressure for a reasonable effort level.

We all use mini pumps because they are small, but they are also not very good - ok to get just enough air pressure in to complete a short journey.

I second the Zefal HPX. They come in different sizes so you need to get the right size for your particular frame.

Zefal HPX. There's none better. If you're keen for a mini pump, then the Topeak range of mini track pumps are very good, just not as quick or effortless as a Zefal HPX

Another vote for the zefal hpx.
  • Topeak Road Morph - works like a track pump, has a gauge, has a rubber tube to connect to the valve, has a bit to stand on, the most ergonomic and efficient pump you can buy.

    Mine too.

  • Cyclaire original. Comes with a case that attaches to frame tubes and rapidly pumps up to 120 PSI.

I have used mine loads of times and it has been very effective.

Having just burst a blood vessel or two inflating my tyres with a mini pump, I'm off to get one of these [:D]

  • Hi I've used a Specialized Air Tool Road pump for the last couple of years it's all ali and extremly well finished and when fitted on the water bottle bosses pretty unobtrusive, well worth a tenner.

In the past i've tried Zefal/Topeak etc...but my mate bought me a cheapish pump about a year ago...its absolutely brilliant...pressurises upto 100psi no problem...never fails...double action always works...wouldnt go past it now as they are the life savers of solo runs....its made by a crowd by RIVA....aluminium and very lightweight.

Ive just fitted a topex road pump to my bike.Looks smart and gets the tyres up to about 100psi at the side of the road. Much beter than a mini pump.No guage though.[V]

Sold one of these by Fudge's Cycles on Harrow Road. It does take a while, makes a racket, but it got me there and is very bijou and light.
