I am currently paying œ14.99 a month for 2mb broadband with unlimited download with Tiscali, but they have just sent me the offer below and i am not sure if offers like this end up costing you more money in the long run, anyone here using the same or similar offers.

    Sorry i binned tiscali because of their 'fair usage policy'. Their unlimited downloads policy only applies out of hours when everybody else is asleep. I migrated to tesco, a bit dearer but worth it not to be constantley threatened over my downloading!

    I was with Virgin.net for a couple of years, but the latency and bandwidth at busy times was pretty awful, so I switched to Plus.net about 3/4 months ago, and I definitely recommend them.
