that Bonty seat will wreck your arse. Will Barclays run to a fizik saddle?

a rear mech hanger with the strength of a block of Gouda? Why that sounds perfect
cycling is no substitute for sausages

look what Trek gave me when their courier broke my madone 5.0 (it\'s a 5.9) :)

See, I'm in a bit of a quandry here. I don't know you from Adam but you've chosen this forum to share a lot about your personal life, which would suggest that it's ok to reply on the same level.

And if I'm doing that I would say that the content of the OP is pretty disappointing.

Jesus, what a bunch of arrogant, superior, irritating morons.

HWK, like the bike, looks very smart. That's got to be the best specced Carrera since Halfords took over the name.

Hypocrisy is only a bad thing in other people.

  • Nice bike, nearly bought this years carrera, it only needs different wheels to be a really good bike.

Also well done with the penalty charge recovery. I have now assisted several people recover over 20k in total. Those banks are scumbags who should face criminal charges not just payback what they owe.
    Good work

If HWK is going to post about his joblessness, financial issues and self-harming I think it's fair enough to pass a mild comment on spending a whole load on his bike rather than his partner. And his kid, for that matter. But I'm not arrogant enough to get abusive about it.
    Unlike you, it would seem.

No you're not. You're far more arrogant than that aren't you. You actually think it's ok to tell other people how to run their life with the little bit of information that you've got about them from what they've posted on an internet forum. Stroll on.

OK. Want to tell me where I told anyone how to run their life? I'm just commenting on your abuse, which I thought was a little uncalled for. No arrogance there. I didn't even call anyone a moron.

Go for it HWK ... I can't imagine you'd ever see your family suffer, and it's not even like you're using credit to pay for it, so go for it. Indulge your passion ... I'm sure your wife would prefer a fit cyclist to someone who sits on the sofa all day anyway [;)]

How many threads do we need about one person's Carrera?

I'd rather get trampled by a herd of baby elephants than use Shimano.

The older I get, the better my power to weight ratio was.
