Nello Ride in the South West

I came across this ride, The Nello, on the Dartmoor Classic Sportive Forum.

It looks a good ride. A scenic 100miles ( or a shorter 55 option
Theres good number riding based on last years figures.
In addition to this you raise money for a cancer charity. The organisers have suggested a very low minimum sponsership of 20 quid. That means that those of us who are not too hot on sponsership can easily do it and boost the funds by participating. Seems like a good idea - often big targets can put people off or deter those who really just fancy the 100mile thrash. Chapeau to those who can raise big money .

I've entered for the 100 - it looks like a good ride.0

Done the Nello three times so far - going back for another go this year. It's a really great route and a well worth a go.0

Looks good to me, and I'm looking for another challenge after the Dartmoor Classic. Is the route on Bikely?0
-
Can't find it on bikely at the moment - I'm trying to find a route sheet from when I've done it before so I can put it up.0
-
That would be great Jon.
I'm going to try to get some of our people involved. Everyone's up for doing some more 100 miler's.0 -
Thanks to Marc and Peter I've got the route details an posted it up on bikley.
Pretty sure it's accurate but the usual disclaimers apply.
The route is slightly different this year due to roadworks around Dulverton. Apparently the diversion makes the climb up to the moor shorter, but harder[:D]0 -

Yogi, have you seen the Exmouth Exodus night ride? It's the week after the Nello, hopefully I'll be doing both. www.exmouthexodus.co.uk0 -
Hi Bagonabike,
Not sure I'm going to be able to do either at the moment as my father is very ill and in hospital.
Would love to do the Nello but it may have to wait til next year now.
As for the Exodus, I'm none to keen on doing anything that involves leaving my bed for the night, I spent too many years doing car rallying at night. But thanks for the suggestion.0
