Anyone done Biarritz to Perpignan please?

You can do the route and make some detours to take in a few Pyrrenean cols, or cycle north from Biarritz and then head west along a canal thru Gascogny, I think. Any seasoned travellers' thoughts welcome.

did the route via col de port The Tourmalet and Aspin Not a doddle but not really difficult on loaded hybrids ,staying in 2-3 star hotels,in a week (The logis de France web site usefull for accomodation )0

Go straight down the spine of the pyrenees, saint jean pied de port,luz saint sauveur, arreau, saint beat, portet d'aspet,massat, ax les thermes, pas de la casa, millas, perps.
Give you all the climbs:Aubisque, tourmalet, aspin, marie blanque, mente, peyresourde, Burdinkurutcheta envilera etc.
Toal distance is 450 miles: total climbing about 46000 ft (14000m).
plenty of decent moderately priced hotels about. Barely a bad mile.0
