A sad story. There was an accident this morning on a nearby stretch of road (Upper Richmond Road, close to the jct. with Rocks Lane). 3+ police cars closing off both lanes at 0700. Not sure if it was a motorbike or pushbike involved, but whatever - I hope that nobody was too seriously hurt.

    Good luck tracking down witnesses.

    Admin1,

This accident was discussed in detail in this forum in Jan/Feb (several pages). The topic appears to have now been archived. A search of the archives could reveal the poster/witnesses or at least remind people the which accident this refers.

  • I was the original poster on that thread as I gave the injured cyclist first aid at the incident, though I didn't witness it firsthand. I've been in contact with the investigating officer(s) throughout. But if there are any more witnesses out there please do contact the police.
