Anyone know what the fastest recorded times for the ascent/descent are?

I've descended it in 14:07 before - average speed: 30.6mph.

My best ascent was 28:01 - 15.4mph average. Had a mild tailwind I think.

I know there's been some professional races where the climb was included - I want to know how good these figures are against the pros! :)

I also had a target to do the climb in 25 minutes before 2010. I also want to know how realistic this target is!

Although, a guy I know has a really good altimeter which said the max is about 23%, so Google Maps can be a bit wrong...

You've gone up that at 15.4mph average?

Up the cat? or another hill?
