Why do they not follow tennis the other 50 weeks of the year?

I believe there is such a thing as general admission at Wimbledon that allows you access to things like "Henman hill" but not the courts to watch the games...why youd bother to do that, is another discussion entirely :)

that no matter however many times you see endless youtube compilations of clips of it happening, professional riders still get caught out like this in races https://youtu.be/2jobR9Uk7PU?t=105

No they are standard, they just emit a light that poor people can't see.

You take a course and demonstrate how good you are at shouting 'inspirational' phrases such as "you're awesome" "come on, you've got this" etc. etc.

I think it's a brilliant money making idea, better than milking money from those who take out long gym subscriptions in January that'll be neglected by February.

With Peloton you sell them the monthly subscription AND an over-priced exercise bike that'll be a clothes horse in two months, all without the cost of actual bricks and mortar.

If it's anything like the Sprot "Science" students who attend where I work, then it's "PUSH,PUSH,PUSH", shouted very loudly.
The older I get, the better I was.

Call it "booty" if you like, to me it's still a fat @rse.

You forgot "lets do this" and "you've smashed it".

You also need to take a course in obtaining an irritating voice.

The seemingly unending line of people, who on the face of it don't look halfwits, who get taken in by "Get Rich Quick / Too Good To Be True" financial scams / schemes.

Expensive cars in drab colours. Saw an Evoque convertibe today that was a matt grey with black wheels/softop. I've seen a Porsche 911 and Panameira near me, both 18 reg in beige. I dont expect Lambo neon but beige!!! Like those farah slacks older people might wear.

Beige is less unimaginative than silver, black, metallic black, metallic grey like every other car in the world. It's like Stealth bikes - dreary is in.

Well... my 911 is black.

I like it because it blends in better. In that model, you can get in yer face yellow, look at me white (and square), boring 40% silver, phallic symbol red. It does come in a pastel blue which is beautiful but I wanted a car that wasn't showy, so black suits me.

Black or grey looks best in most cases imo, I have always liked stealth looking cars/bikes/guitars although I can deal a strong single bright colour at a push.

Nothing wrong with a bit of stealth but I think of certain cars in certain colours. So A-Martin in my mind should be dark blue/silver/racing green. Ferrari - Rosso of course but black or navy look good. Porsche - black, silver, dark or pastel blue or guards red. Never yellow unless the sun shines constantly. That wierd matt black that was popular a couple of years ago looks awful. I can only think when you go to the dealer with your matt finish or yellow car there is a penalty compared to a 'standard' colour. Guess if you can afford a bright yellow car you can take the hit. I've never seen a Porsche in green altho' I know they did make them in that colour.
