They didn’t in the UK as the RTTC banned them at first.

Re: Setting a bike up for a turbo

My understanding is you shouldn’t need a riser block with a direct drive turbo anyway as the cassette is the same height as it would be on a 700c wheel. Interesting, where did you read that? On the instructions that came with my Elite Muin turbo. My riser block is from when I had one with a roller ...

My understanding is you shouldn’t need a riser block with a direct drive turbo anyway as the cassette is the same height as it would be on a 700c wheel. Wrong. Direct drive and wheel on turbos are all different. Some need a riser, some don't. Measure the height of your rear axle from the ground and...

Re: Setting a bike up for a turbo

Sorry but I don’t get this. I have a 3 position riser block, one is neutral in that it just makes the bike level. The other two positions lift the front wheel in order to simulate going up hill. The saddle is always in the same position in relation to the bottom bracket and handle bars.

For me it's a no brainer

You have a bike worth 4.6 million. That’s some bike I would guess.

Vanity overkill :D You must have something else you can wear :p I do have another long sleeved jersey, but it's completely naff. It has one tiny pocket that you can hardly fit anything in, and it's a long ride so I'll need to carry a lot of food, and it wouldn't leave me anywhere to put my rolled u...

Re: Drugs in other sports and the media.

In South Wales at least it's pretty rife but probably more so at lower levels where it's just that a lot of players are also gym bunnies and they're taking stuff to look good with their fake tans and muscle fit t shirts when on the pull at the weekend rather than for sporting advantage. They aren't...
