Japan deserved that, what a game. Glad it was decided on the pitch and still proud of that performance. Japan play brilliant rugby eh?

Re: Things you have recently learnt

I'm wondering when the "Mid life crisis" is supposed to take place ... Current mid-life crisis involves moving out to the country, bringing the horse up from home, buying a 4x4 specifically to enable the first two, and getting married. Oh and a dog. The expensive bikes bit of a mid-life c...

What *is* young round here anyway? I'm 32, partner is 28 and we definitely feel like part of the young team in our club.

Re: Rugby World Cup 2019

To an extent, but it's fair to say it's down to scheduling too - if Scotland's first game was against Japan instead of Ireland, there's much more likelihood that we'd be sitting on 14 points instead of 10 now. err - no there's not. its pretty likely japan are going to pummel scotland. Are you sugge...

Re: Thread to tell everyone what bargains you've spotted!

What is so good about the gore shakedry stuff (apart from epic foldability)? I'm a super heavy sweater and generally find waterproof stuff makes me perspire loads. That's what they're good at - unless I'm well overdressed underneath it and riding super hard, I'm completely fine with it zipped. No p...

42 - 0 after 57 minutes. Nothing spectacular from Scotland, just a woeful defensive performance from the Russians.

Re: Ban SUVs

I'm all for banning of SUVs, and other hugely inefficient vehicles, provided you don't have a genuine use case for them. And a blanket ban on cars in city centres.

I say this as someone about to buy a 4x4 who currently lives in a city centre, to be fair.

Having ridden the aeroad and a bunch of other aero bikes, it's brilliant but there are certainly more...

I feel like I learn this every time, but FTP tests are much harder when you try to stay within yourself for the first 5 minutes and then spend all the rest of your time trying to catch up.

No links, but Evenepoel punctured with 20km to go. Think he made it back to the pack but it had all kicked off so he missed the moves.

Just admitted on a public forum that you've driven with an unsafe load! At least you won't get caught doing it by the police. :D Full disclosure here, I can't see how it wasn't my mistake so it seems right to own up to it. Luckily, no harm done to anything other than my own property and for that I'...

Re: Anyone dealt with warranty claims with Scott UK?

MF is missing that this post is two years old and the stable now has a Canyon Ultimate and a CAAD12 - neither have stupid bottom bracket brakes, lovely as the frame was. I ended up building it and riding it for a while but it wasn't practical enough for my needs.
