Re: Love my new Cosmics!

Jesus, the amount of debate this has casued. The lad's just got himself a beautiful set of wheels and wants to show of his really nice bike, does it matter how he rides it? Not everyone's riding a bike to go flat out non-stop in aero configuration

Re: Wiggle Service

Only had 1 experience with them, ordered one part and was sent something else with no letter explaining why. This doesn't mean that they're no good though, can't judge a business based on just one experience, will let you know after i've ordered a few more things from them

Re: Novice cleat question

Tbf i'm looking at getting the Ultegra's from Wiggle, and it specifies the cleats come with the pedals so that's not a problem

The orange and green isn't my sort of thing, but i've had a lot of criticisms about colour choices and the end of the day mate if you like it then that's all that matters! Looking forward to seeing it built I know what you mean but I like it cause I like it don't need any approval and don't mind cr...

Re: Novice cleat question

It's a shame there's no adaptor to turn it from a 2 bolt to a 3 bolt Would not be possible and would be a real bodge/pointless even if it was. Get some road shoes/pedals. You will love them ;-) Evans have Boa ones for seventy odd pounds in their sale at the moment. I will be doing mate, but just fo...

It's not so much the shoes mate, more of a want to change pedals, and the ones i want require new shoes. It's a shame there's no adaptor to turn it from a 2 bolt to a 3 bolt

Re: Novice cleat question

Cheers for all the advice lads, think i prefer the look of the 6800 Ultegra's so might be worth stumping up the money for them and a new pair of shoes, suppose i can generate some cash from selling these. bit of a shame cause i like the shoes, but they are a bit on the heavy side

Re: Novice cleat question

'Road' kit uses 3 (or 4 in speedplay's case) bolt cleats, whereas SPD is a 2 bolt design. There are road shoes that also take 2 bolt cleats, but not vice versa. Therefore, you would need new shoes, yes. Why do you want to change? These came with the bike when i bought them from my mate, and given t...

Re: Novice cleat question

Ultegra 6800 will require a 3 bolt SPD SL type cleat and shoe. Alas yours are SPD 2 bolt, so the only Option is to buy new shoes to. normally the pedals will be supplied with a pair of cleats. Or stick with what you have if it works for you. Hoep this helps Presumed this was the case, no worries ma...

Novice cleat question

Okay so i've been riding a road bike for about 9 months now, predominantly a mountain biker but it's good for commuting/getting fit, currently running Shimano XT clip in pedals (came with the bike) and Shimano M162 shoes, both as pictured. http://i62.tinypic.com/1sazj7.jpg http://i58.tinypic.com/bez...

Re: Canyon Nerve AM7.0 Mamba Green

Peter, it's nothing ridiculously important, it's just that sometimes it won't wan't to pull the cable efficiently, it can take two pushes of the button (i know this is a typical first world problem, but when you pay that money for a good you expect it to work properly). I just want something efficie...

Re: Canyon Nerve AM7.0 Mamba Green

Really nice bike mate, but can i ask what difference the Southpaw makes? Been eyeing one up for my Lev as the OEM switch is terrible It just puts the lever in the right position, but it's only any use if you are 1x as it replaces the left shifter. My Lev died yesterday though. Back to Germany again...
