Long-term fantastic kit

Hi guys, I recently ran a thread in the (filthy) road side asking roadies what their best long-term purchases have been (http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40042&t=13023946). So now it's your turn: anyone care to share what pieces of kit they've used for years and years, and which i...

Re: Long-term fantastic kit

Published this one online on Sunday, guys: http://www.bikeradar.com/road/gear/arti ... kit-44173/ Thanks for your entries! Might look to update it again – in about 10 years maybe when we've all had a chance to long-term test some new bits of kit... ;-)

Yeah, that doesn't sound right. I'd email iTunes back to check that or the editor: rob.spedding@immediate.co.uk

Long-term fantastic kit

What piece of kit or bike is still going as good as ever despite being bought years ago? Name 'em and fame 'em, guys. Looking...

Got a few bits on those exact things here, Veronese68: http://www.bikeradar.com/beginners/gear ... ike-40002/

And here: http://www.bikeradar.com/beginners/gear ... bay-40379/

But, sure, both are probably due an update.

Re: Ebay Monstrosities

'fraid not, Pina. Nice try. :-) I plugged the article on Facebook btw and we were hit with the 'bike snobs' stick. Thinking of counter-balancing the piece with a 'best bargains on ebay' or 'cheap but good bikes' article. Waddya reckon?

You've beaten me to the punch, gaffer_slow! Have written a short feature on exactly this, with a few snippets on what we already know. Is being published on Monday.

Ha. This is a problem I've had. Not sure that I'll take up Nico's suggested solution though.

We'll do our best, JC14. I do know that Cycling Plus are reviewing a Merida Scultura in one of their next couple of issues, and once they do we'll upload the review to BikeRadar.

Cheers.

Re: Ask the Expert: James Huang on Bottom Brackets

Many thanks to James for answering all those! Hope you got your question answered. If not, feel free to add it to this thread, which I shall see if it gets bumped to the top of the posts and will chase up an answer for. There'll be a new Q+A coming soon. Got something that you want to discuss with t...
