Re: A Big Thank You! Sunday 13th August Leigh, Kent

OH got a puncture on Sunday's ride so we stopped to change it. Two sets of cyclists stopped to check we ok and offer help/commiserate that we weren't within walking distance of a pub

Thanks to those! :-)

Re: Jeans and Smart Trousers

Hey - same trouble here. Gap do a "curvy" range and I love Primark's skinny jeans.

I wear a lot of vintage repro clothing like Collectif and find they're more generous in the bum/legs!

Re: Eating breakfast and driving

I got mine after I was knocked off on a roundabout. I have better things to with my evenings than trawl through footage to post on youtube or the like. Mine is just for evidential purposes, for any incidents involving me, like msmancunia. Plus would you want to relive all of the near misses? Also, ...

Re: Eating breakfast and driving

I don't use mine much - keep forgetting to charge it - but I got mine after almost being left hooked by one tipper truck and overtaken by one behind. It was the single most scariest moment I have had on a bike, and made me realise that if anything bad happened, people would think I had gone up the ...

Re: Women, know your limits

ha ha - I was going to put something about not being able to get a leg over! I understand if it had a particularly low top tube (http://www.evanscycles.com/products/trek/skye-2015-womens-mountain-bike-ec068698) or they had a step through design but they don't. They just look like regular womens MTBs...

Re: Women, know your limits

The bit about being able to mount and dismount safely got me.

As if women all over the world are having catastrophic accidents by trying to get on a bike!

Thanks for that; interesting read and I think quite a balanced bit of investigational journalism.

Yeah I enjoyed it. Clicked on it as a way to pass the time and ended up reading the whole thing!

SEE! It needs a basket! Fortunately the easy mount/dismount feature means I can stop to sniff the wildflowers. I wonder if you have to ride sidesaddle?

Do you have shower/changing facilities?

I use a drying rack that I leave in the shower room.

Re: Last minute Majorca advice.

Take your own saddle! :-) We got back from PP on saturday - it was awesome. Some good places to eat are La Cabana, Bottega Con Ferra and Tolo's. We used this site to find some rides http://www.tmracing.org.uk/bi-po/ its a mixed bag of flats and hills and various lengths. Apparently a ride goes out f...
