Had a great day doing this on Saturday - brilliant event! The climbs were hard - but the ascents afterwards were well worth it! I only did the 15 miler, but at the end felt like I might have been able to tackle the 24 miler - on my list for next year! Well done bud , glad you had a good time, I did...

Really tempted - any reason why I shouldn't do it? My average ride lenght is about 10 miles, but it consist of mainly single track with some fire roads & climbs. Would be looking at doing the 15 miler. The hills are a lot bigger than Cannock bit more rocky , but go for it as it would be a chall...

Love that bike, How good are Orange 29ers these days, just love 'em myself. Had a 2010 five and always regreted selling it and would have bought a 29er five but am toooo short so went the Gyro route instead and couldn't be happier. But some people like Marmite...... If YOU like it that is all that matters, they get good ride reviews as well, I wouldn't, but then I've been trying to decide whether I should get a FS for 3 years so far! I love marmite :lol: its all about getting out no matter what you ride :) we always say hello...
