Re: shimano bottom bracket to fsa - which one?

You need to be clear whether you have Mega Exo or Evo. Exo is 24mm spindle, while Evo is 30mm I believe.

Re: oh dear, what a shame.

Murder him? It's not murder it's putting an animal down as you would a vicious dog. No, it's murder. You can act like some kind of ruthless macho walt if you like, but it's still murder. It's either a legally sanctioned execution, or it's an extra-judicial killing. One is 'legal' - the other is murd...

Re: oh dear, what a shame.

I haven't read the rancid troll's OP, but just to say that the 'death penalty' and 'extra-judicial killings' are not really comparable. There are arguments for the death penalty (few of which I agree with), but there can be no reasonable argument for extra-judicial murder. Name calling and not read...

Re: Weird imperfection in new Cannondale carbon frame

Definitely looks like a manufacturing imperfection and something that has been overlooked. Cannondale is merely a brand nowadays they don't make anything and the brand owner Dorel buys from many different factories in the far east. I watched a video by sickbicker on youtube of a Cannondale mountain...

Re: Weird imperfection in new Cannondale carbon frame

Unlikely to be a crack. Looks more like an flake in one of the undercoat layers which has been over-painted without re-finishing it first.

Re: British Cycling sucks!!

But previously you referred to it as 'actual' cycling, now you're referring to it as 'virtual' cycling. You've moved the goal posts. Wrong. I’ve never referred to swift as ‘actual’ cycling. Because it obviously isn’t.. But it obviously is. As per the dictionary definitions, it is the act of riding ...

Re: Setting a bike up for a turbo

So use it without the riser. In practice, it won't matter. A couple of degrees or mm here or there is not going to be critical in any way.

I'll say it again though, your fit does not change simply by putting the bike on the turbo. Sorry to say, this really seems like a complete non-issue.

Re: Setting a bike up for a turbo

Still not sure I understand what your issue is, but if by 'set the bike up' you mean 'get the correct fit' - then do that off the turbo, on the flat, using whatever measurements you have. Then put the bike on the turbo, with the front on the riser block if necessary. Apart from that, I'm just not se...

Re: British Cycling sucks!!

But again you've made a false comparison. As already said, you still have to actually ride in Zwift, you don't actually fight in Fortnite. 'Virtual' cycling versus 'virtual' fighting - both are in a simulated environment. The differences between those and their 'real' counterparts should not need e...

Bernal took 500,000 euros for winning the biggest annual sports event. The guy who won the fortnight tournament won 3,000000 dollars. None of that changes the fact that it's still just a computer game. A bit like comparing a fortnight tournament winner to an actual special forces soldier... Plenty o...

Re: Setting a bike up for a turbo

Doesn't matter. None of your measurements will be altered by putting the bike on a turbo. The only purpose of a riser block is to compensate for any difference in the rear wheel's height off the floor..
