Re: roubaix with rim brakes

well i a certainly looking at a new bike now. the 2018 roubaix range still has all disk models. which i find bizarre with not a single rim option. the canyon endurace has been eliminated as from what i can tell it is more shorter top tube then taller top tube. domain s 5 are a little discounted but ...

Re: help re fueling after night shift for a ride

thank you for your replies. i think part of my problem is my down time driving home. i have done this job for 8 month snow before that i did same hours and slightly less physical job...but only a bit. the main difference was a 3 mile drive home rather then 25! i may well change my shoes for the driv...

Re: a little on the heavy side!

diet is the key. you will get probably very different advise and what suits you, time ail tell. however i personally feel changes you can stick too are key. e.g., don't cook with oil, use fry light. swap out white for brown..rice, bread, pasta. I'm down to skimmed milk now. cut out the crisps and sw...

rear/saddle bottle cages

morning, i like the idea of having rear bottle cages. i do tend to take a lot out with me when i go for m long weekend rides and often set off really early so there are not many places to stop and get a drink or top up etc. now i have seen some cages but not sure if i have to sacrifice my saddle bag...

Re: no shock but….weightloss really does make you faster!

i am aiming for 13st but if i do feel the lack of power i will aim to put a bit back on. i was just so gobsmacked by how goos it felt, especially since i won't be as fit as even just 6 weeks ago. i am keeping the training up as much as i can…i have made sure i have my turbo spec ready for the days t...
