Re: Orbea 'Myo' - experiences..??

Thanks Roy. So about two months lead time - is that what you were expecting, or was it longer? Trying to gauge how reliable the ordering process is.. So I bought thru Epic Cycles and they quoted about 12 weeks. It was slightly early at 10 weeks. I can’t comment on dealing directly with Orbea. Epic ...

Re: Orbea 'Myo' - experiences..??

Interested to hear from anyone who has gone through the Orbea 'myo' customisation process before buying. What was the delivery timescale like and how much time did the myo process add..? TIA Hi, I used it recently. Bike ordered in November and ready early Feb. Absolutely fantastic experience thru E...

Was Nibali having a pop at Carthy as they crossed the line? Looked that way. Wow, Nibali is such an easy bloke to dislike.

Re: Shorts for longer rides

I used to be a die-hard Rapha Pro Team advocate but recently stumped up the cash for some of the CHPT3 Origin 1.11 shorts (these puppies: https://chpt3.com/collections/shorts-leggings/products/bib-shorts-1-11?variant=39292031044)... Truly different ball game (no pun intended) in terms of long-dista...

An absolutely magnificent film. The best ending to a film I’ve ever seen.

Re: Why are batteries so **** !

You obviously don't remember the nights of Eveready bike lights. We'd go out for a couple of hours at night and we would be lucky to have one working front and rear between three or four of us. With phones I don't get the fascination with thinner and thinner phones. I'd rather have a sturdier phone...

Re: Saddle now uncomfortable after weight loss

I’ve lost about 40 lbs in the past year and have also found my backside sore when it didn’t use to be.

I wear Assos bibs with a good quality pad so the only solution I can think of is to maybe find a new saddle.

That was an incredible end to the stage and enhanced considerably by Carlton’s commentary, which was fantastic.

Rob Hatch drives me bonkers. His accented name pronunciation and that bloody AG2R. I really dislike his commentary.

I liked Dave Harmon. I wish he was back.

Re: The demise of the cyclist's wave

In my experience, club run riders rarely acknowledge you. I don't bother giving them nods or waves. London Dynamo, Kingston Wheelers are the only recognisable jerseys I regularly see.

I've read several pages of this thread. There are some right dickheads on here slagging Froome, happy that he's out, not hurt just given up etc. How feckin pathetic you lot are.

I was going to post Kristoff's comments but didn't at the time. Now it is worth it though as Cavendish has responded. Kristoff: "I was stuck behind the crash and felt I had good legs. I don’t know if I could have beaten Kittel but I think I could have been close so it was a missed opportunity,...

I'm about 80kg. Got my Zondas about 3 months ago. So far, very good indeed. The current deal on Wiggle is a snip, go for it.
