Re: Look Keo Cleats Grip vs Non-Grip

I've been using non grip Look cleats for over a decade in all weathers and I've never decked it.

Re: Look Keo Cleats Grip vs Non-Grip

I only use the non-grip ones myself, because I find that you’re far less likely to get the sporadic Look ‘creak’. When I buy new pedals the supplied grip cleats get sold on here. IMO the grip does nothing – apart from become an annoyance.

Re: Stick with Rovals or go for Hunt

^^^^THIS^^^^ I watched two videos and thought this dude is either looking for fame via social media hits or is just a nutter, regardless of right or wrong analysis I’m just waiting for him to get sued by Cervelo. He totally overstepped the mark on one of his latest videos. I notice he’s now trying ...

Bought mine from Sigma (plus free case) and got my 50 quid without hassle. Did yours come with a free case, or did you have to contact them afterwards? I noticed the same sticker on my box but don't know if it applies to purchases from Winstanleys or not. Yeah, came separately in the same order.

No social media that I can find, their warehouse photo is CGI, and using Goggle Street View I can't see it anywhere. They also have this attempt at a website too https://greensnow.co.uk/

Re: Carbon Footprint - UK specific

I understood the argument against the veganism hailed (by some) as the answer to be that it demands soya to be grown - which generally involves intensive farming with lots of herbicides, pesticides and removal of natural habitat - and then lots of processing - demanding loads of power - and transpo...

Biggest carbon contribution we all have are 1) House heating (water & central heating) - I guess renewable electric would be the way to go currently 2) Transport - dumping the car for short journeys would be the best start 3) Eating meat Missed one https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018...

Re: Dream bike - what would you spend?

Some really interesting replies and views. I guess life really is too short to dream, it's about living, so if financially affordable why put off getting something you want?? Not sure what reviews you're reading but the S-Works Venge frame and the Pro are exactly the same, albeit one says Specializ...

Re: Dream bike - what would you spend?

The store were clearly pushing for the bigger sale and making out that the current venge was a considerable upgrade on my current bike, and the s-works model is significantly better than the cheaper pro model (although the reviews I have looked at suggest the only differences are slightly lower gra...

Does anyone else see the parallels with '30s Germany. Inflammatory divisive rhetoric, shutting down debate, extending executive power. When is our kristalnacht, 31st October? The thing is, the vast majority of right-leaning, No Dealers just cannot get themselves mobilised to do any form of effectiv...

There's a growing probability that the Harrogate area will get a hell of a soaking on Sunday. When is still not confirmed. A whopping great low pressure zone is going to roll in from the SW, and at the moment it looks like it'll hit the WC course in the early hours then move Eastwards: https://www.f...
