Absolutely brilliant. Last one's my favourite, the guy just riding into the dirt.

Re: Campagnolo Potenza HO compatibility

I'm pretty sure it's fine...IIRC it's to do with disc brakes meaning slightly wider rear hub spacing and therefore the chainrings are set a tiny bit further out from the BB to compensate (better chainline)...something like that. But not enough to cause an issue with a regular frame.

Re: Good Winter Tyre for 2019 ?

Michelin Pro 4 Endurance. Rolls very well and pretty damn tough, I never got a puncture whilst using them throughout previous winters. Decathlon stock them for £25 each so they're not too expensive. Only issue is they size up big so I imagine the 28mm will be like a 30mm. +1 for these (though I hav...

Re: Front wheel gets stuck to one side

Well, the calliper won't be anything to do with it if the wheel is moving.

Do you know anyone with a Shimano or Campag QR? It would be worth trying an internal cam QR, they grip much better.

Re: Front wheel gets stuck to one side

So you're saying it is the wheel that is moving...hmmm. It initially sounded very much like the brake tension was biased too much to one side. The only thing I can think of in that case is how tight the QR is done up. But it sounds like you've covered that. How do you re-centre the wheel? Do you hav...

So is it the wheel moving or the caliper? Just to be clear.

Re: Why would anyone chain up a gate on the NCN??

Twitter is an excellent way to report issues for those organisations that have adopted it for this purpose. However, the point is in this case is that reporting an issue with the network involves emailing Sustrans from the Contact Us page. Twenty second visit to the website. It's absolutely clear wh...

Re: Vile left wing envy and hatred

^SERIOUSLY? I mean, good for you if you've never read it, but the Daily Mail is the home of self-righteousness. Half their articles talk about what right-thinking people would do, or highlight the moral vacuum of Britain's youth etc. When it isn't bashing immigrants anyway. EDIT...so many posts...th...

Re: Campy Potenza Powertorque+ crankset extraction

Potenza is not the same Power Torque as you are linking to, so best not to follow that guide OP. "The Potenza crankset makes use of Campagnolo’s Power Torque design, with one important update: for the first time, the left crank includes a built-in extractor, so there is no longer a need for a p...
