Re: BREXIT - Like Sons of Anarchy. It goes on and on and on.

Merkel has just firmly knocked the "no prolongation" idea on the head. During private EU summit talks on Brexit, the German chancellor told her fellow leaders they could not pretend an extension would not be offered to the UK if it was requested, according to a source familiar with the di...

More likely to see negative rates than rates go up, no?

Re: Join the Labour Party and save your country!

I think Corbyn's best strategy would be to vote for the deal. Then play up how well they protected against no deal, and how in the future relationship they will ensure workers' rights, environmental protection etc. Possibly EEA. Think that will win more seats than defeating BoJo's deal. Surely not?...

Re: Seemingly trivial things that intrigue you

Why are BP running adds about the great things they are doing in the US around wind farms and natural gas? It was British Petroleum so why don't they do some great stuff in Britain and advertise that? Clearly it was an ad made for the US and they couldn't be bothered to make one for here also. They...

in terms of improving an already great TT engine it would make sense. he's probably a bit prickly for them though.

His personality (around the bike) seems quite similar to Wiggins. Similar types of rider too.

Dennis to Ineos? in terms of improving an already great TT engine it would make sense. he's probably a bit prickly for them though. I would have thought he would respond well to the Ineos attention to detail which seemed to be part of the reason for his departing Bahrain and maybe why he's been a b...

Re: BREXIT - Like Sons of Anarchy. It goes on and on and on.

Still not sure whether this is designed to fail. No sudden conversions from Labour and the DUP definitely voting against, which hints that the ERG will follow suit. If it does fail it also shifts the blame very clearly to Labour and the DUP/ERG, which probably works for Johnson in the inevitable GE...

What is lost in the noise is how far the asset management industry has moved in respect to the environment and social impact in just the last thee years.
