Re: New build, 2019 CAAD12

Wasn't Rome built faster? If Romans were as bad tempered as me struggling with fork preload. No, it ain’t slammed ....yet., I know. Front mech went on with less than whimper. https://i.postimg.cc/J4nV0rpc/8-AF91-C43-BD64-47-CF-828-B-BE7146-D4-D0-AD.jpg It is the last time I build a bike, so yes it ...

ImageYes , finally got the rear mech up and running.
For the fully paid up amateur mechanic, not exactly a fan of internal cabling.

Re: what do i actually need for zwift???

If your turbo is discovered by Zwift via the laptop just using the Lenovo bluetooth, then you'll see it in the Zwift app.
If it doesnt connect , then BT on Lenovo is not compatible and then you 'll need a small ANT+ usb dongle for the Lenovo.

I suspect with Lenovo you'll need the ANT dongle.

Ive just put a frameset on sale on Ebay which will no doubt leave absolute proof that people should not be entrusted with a vote or sharp objects.
Just had 1, to whinge about only collection and to ask if di2 fits... if the fckwit could only use the internet properly.

Kudos for owning up .. you are not alone at being sh it at descending, but most are in denial (the, of course I am a brilliant driver syndrome) until you see some sh it poor examples of it.

Re: Getting cycling whilst having you family

Unless that partner of yours is actually dialled into cycling, then in all seriousness, marital breakdown can , and does happen because of the nature of the activity. However, the 21st century is kind to you with its world of virtual cycling within the home environment. Lucky boy! You will not get f...

Re: Your rants here.

It's enough to make go out now on the bike and suffer Saturday morning idiots.
How can you move into a fully fitted, full managed brand new flat and still find things to circular saw on a Saturday morning????
I think some people are just hard coded to be plain annoying b strds.

Re: Cannondale caad 10 value

People want to pay peanuts for older bikes.
My 2013 Caad has full 7900 durace with a 4iiii pm and FFWWD wheels and is mint . and you'll still get muppets just thinking they can have it for £200.
I'd rather give it away to a youngster who wants to get into crits.

Fractured , but all the swelling has gone down and can fit into cycling shoes again
I got away with that one I think, could have been a lot worse.

Actually this is a thread about aging but , always good to roll this out for the younger ones with more responsibility than a carbon framed bike

Re: Unwanted Chain Pickup - Very Grumpy Rider.

There is something very odd that your 5700 is playing up. I have it on my hack Ribble and it is 100% bombproof. I am going to suggest that the frame might out of true at the back or at least the hanger? You wouldnt or shouldnt even think about spacers on a standard HT bottom bracket and 5700 crankse...

Re: Get It While You Can!!..Age The Great Leveller!

Even if you have less genetic potential you still have masses of potential to improve through being focused and well, a bit selfish, as cycling tends to be rather time consuming to the cost of other things in life. In old school terms that means the 150 - 200 miles per week of training stuff mantra ...

Re: Solutions to creaking BB - Praxis?

I use a Praxis BB30 conversion. 100% rock solid bottom bracket on the CAAD. I cant say about other frames though. Even with the actual BB30 setup that went thru some hard seasons, the CAAD never developed any hint of creak or movement. Thanks JGSI, why did you use the Praxis in the first place? Bou...
