Re: Drinks in Kingston

@anonymousblackfg - Thanks for the crazy idea! Climbing White Down in the dark made it psychologically easier and the decent from Ranmore to Effingham less bumpy than it normally rides.

It was great fun guys. Thanks again!

I'm riding fixed gear as usual today, so you may have to bear with me on some of the hills.

I was going to ride my SS, but legs are still tried from the weekend. MTB-Idle may be riding his Langster.

Re: Drinks in Kingston

I'm cutting it fine, but have to fetch a bike on the way home. Hoping to be at the Ballet school for 18h15. If you lot have gone, I will make my way there riding Esher, Cobham, Effingham, down White Down to the pub. It's The Royal Oak in Holmbury St Mary?

I use T-Cut Scratch Remover to get surface marks out of my levers. Follow up with clear nail polish.

I've been tempted to do something like this on CS7 actually. Just need to get up five minutes earlier than usual one day and stop somewhere like Oval lights and set myself up rather than getting engaged in SCR all the time.

Do let me know your location when you do it

Re: Silly commuting racing

Weird that this was posted yesterday... Today the flyover is closed and the whole of Hammersmith is at a standstill because of a fatal three car crash westbound overnight. Three men arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/hammersmith-crash-man-dies-and-thr...

Re: Drinks in Kingston

As for my summer pub idea, it would be the Royal Oak in Holbury St Mary, subject to Big Smoke having it up and running, maybe congregate 6:15ish on 20 June in Richmond Park before riding down and bimbling back in the twilight? BUMP: Sorry this wasn't confirmed. But I remembered the date :) Will lea...

The victim had to do it himself once he dragged himself from his hospital bed and also they haven't even bothered appr...

Has anyone cycled over hammersmith bridge in the last couple of days? I've been on the motorbike so had to take putney bridge instead, would be nice to be able to still use it for the cycle commute next week though. Yup. It's great! No traffic along Castelnau.
