Re: Rugby World Cup 2019

Yep. We've never been lucky. But, this year..... More bad news to report... Josh Navidi out of the tournament with a hamstring injury He's very good but we do have sufficient back row cover. It's our centres that are all &&&&&& up. So expect to see a centre get called up.

Re: Bender's review site, roubaixcycling.cc (and general kit discussion)

I love Rapha Pro Team but, in the flyweight ones, it's way less stretchy than the normal ones. That said, the normal ones are still very good even in real heat. But, on the basis of really hot (and the need to be a bit stretchy and more comfy) the Assos one. I'd have a look at this is Cambridge thou...

Re: Thread to tell everyone what bike gear you've just bought !

20 quid cheaper at respective rrp. My issue is that the L deffo wont fit. So no opportunity to see if the arms would be tighter. In the stick pics, but not the road.cc review, the arms loom more race fit. Maybe it's an xl issue?

Re: Thread to tell everyone what bike gear you've just bought !

I've ordered the Rapha shake dry Its superb. But I could fit my legs in the arms. Back it goes. I don't get this. The fabric is down to Gore. The cut sounds terrible, so what about it is "superb"? The fabric. It's a proper game changer, as everyone says. The torso, shoulder fit is excelle...

quarters - that would be brilliant.

any chance of a jpn/nz final or does the draw run against that?

Yes, opposite sides of the draw I think (assuming QF1 etc are as listed on the RWC website)

I'd love to see a Wales Japan semi, obviously with Wales progressing.

It's very slightly bigger than a PT. So good for layering.

Re: Assos Habu or Castelli Alpha ROS jersey

Slightly different things, but also quite similar. I've owned both, and am a huge fan of the Alpha. On the face of it the Habu should be warmer. But, in practice, the Alpha often is. It's also a very very good rain jacket, gives in in the end of course. But, the Habu is a very good price at Merlin. ...
