Re: On One Bish Bash Bosh

Honestly, IDGAF about other hubs, if I were replacing them it would be with a hope/lightbike etc. Combo, but I'm not going back to tubes. Time and time again I've strayed off the path of hope hubs, as have my similarly bastard fat friends. Each time we have returned, from shimano, salsa, halo, Chris...

Re: On One Bish Bash Bosh

Cheeky git... the blue works really well in the flesh, with the hubs, rotors, crank boots and other blue details it nicely comes together. Also my bar tape choice was this of fluoro yellow fizik! The hope wheels are fantastic, even though I went for the 24-sp version, they're still super stiff. They...

Re: Tubeless problems

Sealant should do it, where do you keep the bike? Over here SC come with two bottles of Stan's, but if it's super hot you could dry that out in a couple of weeks. The little bottles will also go in. Through a Presta valve stem if you remove the core!

Re: Santa Cruz Nomad 650b build

Re: damaged rear rim

Just return it if it's damaged, if you can't use an adjustable spanner to bend it out. Be really careful and use a steel rule to check

Re: Carbon repair: what would you do?

I'd ignore your local guys and just send it to fibrelyte, they're magical pixies you cannot tell they've fixed a frame!!! That said, it's not a brilliant frame. I'd be taking the excuse to upgrade and buy something snazzy. Maybe something which comes with a lifetime warranty and the associated price...
