Re: British cycling , what level membership

At 30something quid for "ride" it gives me (and wifey) the comfort that I'm somewhat insured.

It also gives me ammunition when the village facebook group start on about cyclists, "road tax" and insurance.

Re: Recommend Me Some Gloves and Overshoes!

I use DHB windslam gloves for the milder days and DHB deep winter for the colder days. I've used Gore Windstopper in the past and still have them but find the DHB versions a little looser so they tend to keep slightly warmer. On the feet, wooly bullies and some DHB neoprene overshoes with standard c...

The death of Marco Pantani was one of my favorite reads and I've just finished "the secret race" which was also quite honest and insightful.

Re: Dream bike - what would you spend?

You've all forgotten to factor in beers to your build time/equipment lists. Of all the bikes I've had my Trek Domane is the only one I've had to resort to shop help for and that was a wheel true and a basta2d rear brake which no matter how clear and bubble free the fluid was still felt spongy. And s...

What authority do french ADAs have to take samples from members of the public?

Not that I'm condoning his actions but it just seems odd that they would do something like this - Unless he was competing of course.
