Truvativ chainset

On my stumpy I have the Truvativ stylo chainset with 44Alloy, 32Alloy and 22 steel rings. The 44A ring is damagaed and I need to replace the ring. I have looked in a fair few places and the cheapest I could find is œ22 which I think is a bit expensive for one ring! Is there any other decent rings that are compatible and a little less expensive?

The rear d, is sram - 9 and the chain is also sram, in good condition.

Unfortunatly they seem to be all around that price. Its juts one of those things if you buy the parts separatly they are alot more expencive. [:o]

is the big ring actually damaged or does it just look like it? Some of the teeth are miss shaped for a reason.

if a tooth is bent often pliers can help.

œ22 quid is a lot of money when you have just spent œ750 on a second hand stumpy,.....which needs a new ring!!!!

Anyway looked on e-bay and got all three rings for œ15!! Bargain.

I can do the hands on stuff, it's knowing the components well enough. I used to know just about everything in the early 90's when my DB ascent was the dogs!!!!! However things are awfully different tech spec wise so I am trying to squeeze enough info out of you guys !!!![:I]

I will put my stumpy on here photo form when I have finished polishing her cos if you think I am going out in this weather, you can think again. I am on Cannock Chase though, doing an orienteering day!!! Boss is very naive!!!![?]
