can this be put on any frame with the correct components (single speed conversion as i have a merlin malt 1 frame and dont use it any more.?? thanks

    If you get a chain tensioner, yes.

    I've just built up a single speed from an '05 model Malt 1 (unused but sat in Merlin's stores) and it's fantastic. Light and easy to throw around, yet I didn't buy any components based on weight. Really pleased with it and would thoroughly recommend it.
