just called up vodafone to cancel my PAYG account, they offered me 500 free mins and 1000 free texts to stay with them for another month. Profit!

Just don't add anymore credit to it you idiot.
They wouldnt add minutes for you to stay a month.
PAYG is a loss to the companies compared to contracts.
