    Given Pogacar's age, I don't think it's unlikely he will break the record. Won't be easy, but he does tend to win 3-4 stages in every GT he rides. Would be a shame for Cav, because it is the crowning achievement of his career.

    Racing has completely changed with breakaway's basically hardly getting away anymore for the first 90 minuntes and torching their legs if they do manage it. The GC leaders seem to be winning more & more hilly and mountain stages.
