Into town for a free dinner so left the Panzer behind. Luckily one of the neighbours was getting a lift down to the station from his OH and offered me a lift. Not sure I'll be so lucky on the way back, but I'll now be very early into the office.

Also my Friday today as its a fun bike day tomorrow.

    Sunny. Yay!
Shorty's sports day today. I expect greatness, thrashing and humiliation of the opposition.
    [an effort would suffice].

Damn back is sore. Intervals today on rollers as the jarring on these 3rd world roads is not fun.

    'chippy day' Mr Croker?

I'm going to say he's got battered fish and chips (or maybe a pie/saveloy/battered sausage/kebab for his dinner today instead of tomorrow.

Took dog for a walk, then for a bath, about to think about lunch. I expect the giro will be playing on my phone later.

Chilly windy wet day. Filled the garden waste bins for collection tomorrow, then into town to waste time and money...

Going to be a busy few days coming up, had tree specialists in yesterday to remove two (big) old eucalypts... so there's a load of log splitting and storage to do for firewood in a couple years time

The hottest day of year so far doesn’t appear to surfaced round here. Done a few chores, walked the dogs, did session on the board followed by weights. Checked chain on bike not quite at 75% but needs replacing. Thought I better get a new cassette as I think the one I’ve got on is at least 3 chains old, added a new tyre to the order and now I need to take out a mortgage to pay for it.

Yep. \tyres are really pricey these days.

Dunno what you're looking for chain wise but this seller (selespeed) gave me first offer but I declined. He sold me the C60 and if that's anything to go by, it will be in A1 condition:

The 11 speed Shimano chain is only about £4 cheaper than wiggle.

    Well done Shorty.
I reckon Pinno did a junior version of 'Mrs. Doubtfire' and entered the races himself.

    Well done Shorty 🥇
    Evening folks,
Busy day in the orifice, no wobbling due to driving the EPO in. Shame as it's lovely and sunny. Hopefully the good weather will stick around for the bank holiday.
Changing my chains at .75 has enabled me to nurse my cassette onto its 4th chain. I'm being tight I know, but it still works so all is well.

    No bicycle races unfortunately.

Though Mrs P got 7th out of 8.

It was a slight downhill and he fatties were aided by gravity.
