P.S does anyone have experience of the Wasabi (Helmet not the food) and opinions as to it's quality/comfort or not.

I have checked out a fair few reviews already.

P.P.S I also like this green one :#

No experience but everyone’s head shape is different so like saddles what is comfortable for one is not necessarily going to suit another. Best to try it yourself to be sure.

Blue, but at the purple end of the colour range.
Closer to pure blue than pure purple.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

  • Opening thread, it definitely looked a deep purple and I voted.

I then googled "indigo colour" images in another tab, then switched back to this thread... And now it looks deep blue.

    How bizarre, how bizarre! :o

Yes Indigo would be the best description of the colour.

PPS - That doesn't look too green either.

What does it matter, how does it fit and do you like it are the important questions.

You do know that Danb would not be able to live it down if he wore a purple helmet with the rest of his blue coordinated kit. Or if he wore that grey one with his green kit.

Very much aware of that, just didn't want to give the wrong answer 😂

I don't have any blue kit to the best of my knowledge, I have a little bit of black and yellow, and more recently some dark green and dark purple kit too.
It's not that I couldn't live it down, it simply wouldn't be allowed to happen o:)

I am slightly colour blind, so that could well explain why I thought the blue could have been classed as purple, although agree it is more to the purple end of the blue spectrum as it were.

I'm not sure I like either enough to try one though, just thought one or other colour could work well with the gravel bike, bit of aero in there as well as wet weather protection, and mahoosively reduced currently.

Believe it or not, the green one is in fact green, but they are all matte finish.

    See below :-)

    Black:

    Bluey/Purple ;-)

Interestingly, or not, on the Sigma site the Blue helmet looks not remotely purple to me, must be different lighting:

    Grey:

Green, or Jade as they like to call it:

Additionally, if you buy one, you may be required to get a full sleeve tattoo.

Admittedly, it might not be that riders arm in the picture.

Being colourblind aside do we not all see colour slightly differently? Hence the "is this dress brown, white or a load of shite?" type stuff that crops up.
Also for Christ's sake don't get a tattoo, trying to coordinate that with kit will be a whole new level of confusion
