to put this all into perspective.
I've just had to pop out to, errrr, sort something out.
considering itsutterlyfuckingfreezing and where i was going i decided to forgo public transport, bicycle and ebike and took the M4, drove likeatwat, sorted out what needed sorting, drovelikeatwat home (with heated seats, heater on and some mega tunes blaring) and still made it back for a glass of wine in front of the fire.
I don't think Ricktopia's transport plans ill succeed..The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

I drove into the city last night for our Xmas market pilgrimage. 12miles and 30 mins each way.
Same trip on a weekday at 9 am would be 90 mins at least. Beats any option involving public transport by about half an hour. But is much more costly to park As it should be.
So the problem isn't personal transportation per se, but the choice to use it to get to work, drop the kids off, etc. at the same time as everyone else.0 -
