Jockey Wheels

Hi All
I have a shimano XTR m970 rear mech 9 speed 11 teeth that needs a new bottom jockey wheel as the rubber seal is are damaged, the wheel is still in good nick. Does anybody know if a xt one will fit? as £35 for a new set is a bit much.

    Jockey wheels are jockey wheels. There is nothing special about them. You can buy cheap or expensive. They all do the same thing.

    When I broke my XT mech in half I could only get hold of an SLX mech. (It was perfectly acceptable by the way, and I bought another when I also broke that one!)
    I kept the XT jockey wheels as I thought they might come in handy for the SLX mech. Quite some time later, I tried to fit the XT jockey wheels into the SLX mech and they absolutely would not fit!

    So XTR and XT may be compatible, but XT and SLX are not.

    Thanks JBA and Steve it looks like xt and xtr will fit
