mountain bike bib shorts vs road bike bib shorts

I'm on the Decathlon website looking for cheap bib shots and i see 'mountain bike bib shorts'. What is the difference between these and road bike ones?

MTB bib shorts are more of a liner, they use thinner material and are designed to be worn under baggies.

Be aware that the cheaper the bibshort the less comfort. Decathlon do different levels products the more you pay the better they are. Worth looking at DHB or Planet X stuff for VFM.

I'd be wary of Planet X. They may do some decent ones but the "Nalini" versions I got were neither Nalini nor comfortable. Worst shorts I've ever owned even going back to real chamois in the 90s. Cheap enough to to bin and (nearly) forget is the best I can say about them.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.
