Anyone else watching it tonight?

The MFs have got some Fosters in as they couldn't find any VB are are extremely nervous of the ending.

There may be some tears shed but obviously in a very manly way.

I happened to catch the last couple of minutes of this afternoon’s penultimate episode and surprise, surprise, Guy Pearce was the centre of attention

    Noooo! No spoilers please!

Saw him on last night's episode (although I thought he was blown up in Iraq, tbh,) but tonight's promises to be a real tear jerker.

Is it just me or do all of them seem to have massive bags under their eyes like they are all really, really tired?

Never intentionally* watched an episode, not going to start now.

*It's been on as other household members have watched it, including tonight. I will be watching something else.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Does Alan Dale appear via video link from the White House and tell them Ramsey St is just a stopping point on the way to somewhere else, and they all walk off into a bright light?

    Ah f@ck, that’s 24 and Lost.

No spoilers? You should be so lucky, lucky lucky lucky. Mind you, I just can't get you out of my head. Je ne sais pas pourquoi.

Watched as a kid when it first started but haven’t seen an episode since I was at school. Still a little sad to see a childhood memory go.

Ah teachers strikes were a big part of putting neighbours in the heads of many 80’s school kids.
Not watched it in 30+ years but it was from a different era of shared TV experiences that I do mourn the loss of.

Was a proper star factory too. Plenty of them have had long and successful careers.

In the end Harley Quinn comes in and wastes them all.....

    OMG

    OMG

    JUST OMG

Never mind hiding in hedges in bandit country.

stack stack stack kick in door? tchaaaa.

all going loony tunes? child's play.

tying MFs to helicopters to go and get random people? may as well make a casserole.

mountain top stage finishes? dull. sprint stages? boooring.

    base jumping? stay in bed.

This schiz is where its at.

    Utterly, totally, amazing, wonderful.

    Sheer frickin' joy.

And, tbh, totally gutted to see it go. end of era.

Well, that was rather disappointing to say the least.
Do video messages count as an appearance these days?
Fireman Sam was at Sydney harbour but couldn't be arsed to go the extra mile.
About three words and a beard.
The US President never addressed the nation.

There was also a continuity problem, since Donovan and Pearce, while sharing a couple of scenes, were clearly not on set on the same days....

We're still trying to work out why the Minogue didn't say anything.

re continuity - well it wouldn't be Neighbours if it didn't have an element of amateurshitness in it, which we suppose is kinda endearing.

Hadn't watched it for 20 odd years but the wife had it on the old times sake. It was bit on the corny side to say the least and left open for an inevitable revival like Dallas and Dynasty did

The only problem I have with neighbours is that the last episode wasn't about, well, 37 years ago!

I'm amazed it's even worth a thread, and even more amazed I've bothered to bite, lol.
