    Cloudy and breezy.
I think we've had our 2 days of summer.

Off past Fort Loon and on to a Castle in the outer reaches of the region. Will be taking one other reinforcement form another clan.
I shall lead the crew closely followed by the catering division whilst Popsicle, Tricky and Shorty flank the walls ready to attack.

Was strange, I got home from work last night and there were puddles everywhere. No rain whatsoever at work but decided it meant I didn't need to water the plants.

WFW again. Short ride into the office as got the gym later.

Up early to pedal in part of the way; getting back into a communt routine but still bloody slow. Now eating sarnis that got rearranged a bit while in my rucksack, so more like a meat and veg salad with some bread mixed in.

Ride rided, pleasant sunshine, no wind, pretty spot on conditions. Repeat loop, get those legs back onto those upslopes.

To be followed by an afternoon of pottering about tackling Stuff. 'tis my life at the moment.

Much appreciated. I was tempted to go and look at a house I can't afford near Thornhill (Durisdeer) this weekend before said friend imposed his presence on us... Nice over there.

Afternoon folks, busy day in the orifice fending off an excess of BS. Getting more than a little hacked off, system still not working and now the ops director seems to be blaming us rather than accepting the system is still FUBAR. It's like trying to do your job half blind with one hand tied behind your back. Worried beautiful assistant will quit, she will be very hard to replace as she really is extremely good. I do mean that in a purely professional sense.
Had to drive in as the EPO is also in today so dropped her off en route. Going to see Geno Washington play in a pub in Twickenham tonight. Lord knows how old he is by now, saw him about 25-30 years ago and he seemed old then. But was probably younger than I am now. Enjoy the holiday SG, good luck with the guest HM and happy Friday TLW.

Can you find her something different to do for a bit to keep her interested?
It's the same here but nobody seems worried about me quitting - not sure if that's a good or bad thing

Still extremely busy and lacking staff, we just can't find any.
That meant me driving yesterday for almost 12 hours on a delivery to site which prevented my daily update on here. :/

HD i feel your pain, we've got the same problem either their useless or go somewhere else after a short period of time for even more money. We've just lost one guy who was poached back to his previous company with a 6k salary increase and he gets the managers company car hand me downs. Its getting silly.

    I can wire a plug?

I can also do a better job of cleaning up after builders have been in than the professional cleaner upper people that the builder employed because they couldn't be bothered to come back and clean up all the waste they left.

Not great for employers, but now's the time for employees to make the most of it as it won't last forever. I've been dropping a few hints about that sort of thing and see if they bite o:)

I'm hoping I get redundancy, but I've been thinking that for a few years now and it hasn't worked!
When they lopped all the support staff during covid, so many opted for voluntary redundancy that some poor souls still work here

I now realise the lucky ones got made redundant in December, unfortunately for me I know ok much and they have said as much so I'll struggle to get redundancy. Found out a few things this evening and need to consider my options. Unfortunately I really don't know what else I can do.

I think there market's a bit saturatured with mobile bike mechanics and now only fans kicked off the porn stars there's a load of them looking for work anyway.

But combining the two - that's an untapped market.

Come round, I'll tweak your nipples in the garage, then lube up your bottom bracket. That sort of thing?
