    C'mon Pross!

    - Last chance saloon for QS
    - Can Wout pull off winning the biggest climber's monument
    - Which wildcard will pull off the upset
    - Will all Bahrain Victorious riders place higher than Landa
    - Can Mohoric pull off the escape again and descend to victory, the latter he almost pulled off in the edition Roglic won
    - Why is Nibali here
    - How will Ineos shape the race and will they gain numerical advantage once again
    - Phil Gilbert last hurrah
    - Alexis Vuillermoz and Bauke Mollema could be super dark horse picks

Why is the women's race called Liege Bastogne Liege when they 'only' do Bastogne to Leige?

The standard of racing seems to have improved massively over the last couple of years though so the increased integration with the men's Classics seems to be paying dividends.

12:30 uk time ad free. Eurosport 1 tv programme starts at 12:15, so I assume 15 minutes of flannel.

She got away on Roche-aux-Faucons so about 13km and then consolidated it on the unclassified rise just after. She went earlier on Redoute and got a gap but it came back.

Carlos Rodríguez has now also abandoned the race.
Have they all caught a dose of the Pidcocks?

Michael Matthews still has the Blings and has also abandoned.
    He managed just 15kms.

Active race for the women?. The standard of racing is maturing a bit ?

Yes, it was an active and enjoyable race (well, what we saw of it) - they usually are. Whilst always improving and more and more contenders are emerging, I think the standard has been great for some time.

I don't follow women's cycling so much but this year's coverage is so much better ...
