Hounds walked, now trying to track my mate who’s doing an ultra in Madeira - shoot erosive not helping.

Today is a longish run along offas dyke to a campsite where the current wife should have set up the camper, then to the local pub.

    Sunny again.
Benny Beans is studying the outside a lot now. Poor soul.
1 week to go plus a snip job.

Or do I let him out supervised for a short while?

Up a bit early again as junior was off out to the gym and doesn't do quiet very well. Hounds are squabbling over which one gets the favourite dog seat which is a sort of hairy bean bag. Off out later to get a light fitting of some sort.

Morning. Been participating in an online education conference all morning, probably going to skip the networking and pay just a small amount of attention to the keynote speaker in 25 minutes before heading out to collect Mrs GTi from the dead uncle's house where I fully expect her to have rearranged stuff to make it look ridiculously crowded again.

Not heard back from Tregis (last weekend's Facebook market place muppet) so no realistic prospect of him turning up to smash me all over the place. Which is a shame.

I'll do a bit of work later but not much and then will deffo get the bike ready for a ride in the morning.

New bike tinkered with to brink of disaster. Made a hash of lowering the front mech but redeemed myself in spectacular fashion. A dozen oysters consumed (peas would be proud) main course and copious amounts of booze to follow.

Good man seano. Oysters are bloody lovely. The place we are on the way to buying has oyster beds within a mile.

They encapsulate the sea like nothing else. Arriving at a quiet beach in the morning, seaweed, fresh air, seagulls, crabs hiding in rock pools, cold salty water, sand in your swimming trunks. ☀️☀️😎🥰

:) I've had my self imposed limit. I'm now on the 0.0% Guinness.

I made a BBEF (Benny beans entertainment facility).

Though, he doesn't seem overly interested (yet).

Just to chuck a rock into the pool, cheers no worries, my gastro foodie enthusiast pal got his worst ever dose of the runs after a meal in one of those *ed establishments from what he reckoned had to be a dodgy oyster. Enjoy.

The sole oyster without much liquor went straight in the bin.

I've had loads over the years, from the beautifully expressive and succulent, to the merely salty and a bit chewy. Never had a dodgy one. I got the laser trots off some mussels in Normandy once, they were full of little pink crabs. I think that's my only proper bad food experience in my forty ahem years. Everything else can be traced back to too much alcohol.

If I ate at a *'d place, or indeed anywhere where I was paying for food, and something they served gave me food poisoning, they would know about it.

    Table tennis balls
    Swizzle stick
3 cardboard boxes with holes I gaffer taped together
1 fluffy ball (with built in squeak device)
Scratch post with a dangly thing
2 x young girls who double up as entertainment devices
