I see Velogames have a Superclassico and Paris Nice game up.

Do we have a league?

I'm happy to join in - I play most of the races most of the year

    I’ve set up a league, code 741774920.

Teams entered for the Superclassico and Paris-Nice.

I play more often than not.
Have to say he was cutting it fine this year.
Stuck a team in for superclassico with my phone, just in case I can’t have a decent look before 10-30 tomorrow morning.

Am in. Normally only do the stage races, because I always forget to change my team for the classics and end up with non starters.

    But am in for both...

As long as folks have made a team, a league can be joined at any time, so don't panic.

Velogames Catalunya deadline 11:30am today UK time.

Tricky selection - there's 4 that could go to puncheur or the type of sprinter who's turned up, 3 (plus GC) for climbers and no TT.

    (Tricky except grandpa, obviously.)

Catalunya is always difficult when it comes to the flatter stages and this time there appear to be more. There are several punchy sprinters starting, but not a single "fast" man with form.
Usually it's hard to find potential bargain. This time there are too many to choose to make him/them an easy pick.

Well, Catalunya turned out to be more of a lucky lottery than a test of knowledge and skill. Odd season thus far with so many riders dropping out along the various ways.

As for the classics game and those transfers, one or two are facing a loaves and fishes situation for the second half of the series....

It’s going to be a weird season with riders pulling out of races all over the place.

I got my superclassico and spring classic mixed up and used most of my subs, only noticed last night!!! HAve been too busy to be invested in this so far this year but usually enjoy it, alongside PTP it adds to the race.

WVA completely screws over my transfer plans by getting Covid.
I like everyone else was going to include MvDP on Wednesday but didn’t want to use 2 transfers putting WVA back in for Flanders.
Now I am counting the cost in lost points.

I forgot to change my Superclassico team again this morning.
Had a quick look and I was not alone.
    6 out of 10 didn’t change.
At least the top 3 did, so the podium competition is still on.

Shows that life after LBL isn’t the same.

Our league leader in Suisse has just lost three riders... and so has second place - it's game on. (Assuming there's actually a race.)

Last couple of races - TwoToeBenny won the Dauphine.

I won the covid lottery race in Switzerland.

Bumping this as the new format of Velogames has launched and it almost tempted me to pay for the premium game !

Tricky to decide whether to go all in on Pog, or try to spread the credits across multiple decent riders and hope some of them make it to the finish without Covid.

Could do Pog, Rog, Van Aert (obviously), then fill up with Caruso, Guerreiro, Simmons and three 4 point breakaway possibles.

I'll never pick Rog. I want no reason to be happy when he wins.

Given Jumbo's track record of abandoning races at the first sniff of Covid, I don't know what to do.

I've accidentally got 9 different teams represented, so surely someone will make it to the finish.
