Going for a run, then a meal out to make the most of the last day of the holidays.

Ok, I will be sat in a room waiting for food and drinks deliveries whilst I finish watching everything on Netflix, prime, Apple TV and Disney

I would accept that as a dream, well apart from putting the washing out obviously

You are going to put washing outside? You devil you.

    Nippier yes indeed.
Low on the miles so far this year but I did do a heap of core stability exercises yesterday which I am paying the price for today.
Pain is just weakness in the body apparently.
Last proper ABS workout was, let me see... 7th November. Little wonder then.

Morning. Teen GTi’s birthday today so a morning of celebrating 14 years of awesomeness. In-laws have just arrived for a bit. Need to read and comment on a couple of essays before the end of the day. Will deffo do run 2 of the C25k programme today. Only question is do I get Mrs GTi to give me a haircut later?

More dog escape fun this morning, junior hound has found a new way through into the 2 acre garden at the back which he thinks is a park. At least he comes back after a few minutes. Breach in the defences to be plugged later - off out shortly for a pub lunch at one of the locals with a couple of mates.

Busy morning moving stuff and tidying up tools. Mate arrived to work on his new/old car. Has bought a near 30 year old Audi sedan which is in surprisingly good nick for its age. Left him to it, and busied myself cleaning out grate drains. Forecast is for rain later this week, so good timing perhaps.

Physio tomorrow, plus a trip to tools shop to buy a selection of clamps.

Ride ridded - the Prince is jyst lush.

140psi in 22mm tubs on 80mm carbon deep rims with caliper brakes and even though it poured down at the end bizarrely I didn't die.

Lifestyler mate I ride with said that it must a nightmare to ride at those pressures - I responded that bizzarrely it was fine. Quel surprise.

  • Back to WFH for a few days, most of our fairly close frienship group have got C19 including my dad and son so I can't really risk shutting my factory down by going in even though I'm testing negative.
Plus I can work in my underpants at the laptop without people complaining.

AB did my C40 and Neill there is great to talk to. Why would you want anyone else? Although you pay for it, they arrange collection and delivery.

Evening folks, Christmas is well and truly over. Stuff is back in the loft and the EPO's desk in the front room. Remembered to set the alarm for tomorrow so no excuses.
MF, wasn't there that bloke on here who's mate had a professional dedicated stable for spraying a Pinarello, I'm sure you could ask him. On second thoughts, an actual professional that knows what they're doing does sound rather better.
  • I dumped our tree at the local recycling point earlier, alongside a foil tray with a turkey carcass...

I sprayed my bike gold once. Threw a spray can into my tool bag which hit something sharp and exploded in the hall 😕

Run/walk runned/walked. Better than day 1, could actually breathe. Which was nice. Great time of year to get back into it, innit.
