'Morning. Another day off searching for the ground with my good eye closed.

Appears I have a bacterially infected sty in my eyelid. Looks like I've been in the ring with Tyson Fury. At least I now have some antibiotics for the infection so hope it clears quickly. Most uncomfortable and infuriating and painful. Can't do much with only one eye open - drive/cycle/work etc. Looks like 1/2 a sleeping tab and back to lie down with the headphones on for a drug induced kip.
    Laters.

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Mowing (cont.) this morning. Taxi duty run into town, just in time for the rain to start yet again, all afternoon.

Ticked off a new virtual ride this afternoon through the Ardennes.

    Spring time in Tasmania?
Yes, but this has been the wettest and coldest spring in a very long time. We "usually" have some short sharp showers in September, breezy in October and starts to warm up from then on. This year we've had days on end of heavy cloud, and steady rain, with barely any decent sunshine since one nice day back in late August.

    Bit like Scotland really.

WFH today so got a bit of a lie in compared to yesterday's pre dawn start. Currently on a 'Town Hall' Teams call so can do other stuff like posting on here. Getting the satellite telly installation sorted this afternoon, yay.

Reliability? You are mixing apples and pears.

Original stuff? I have replaced 90% of that list with OEM parts.
Why would I start again - all the vulnerable bits have been powder coated and all the bushes have been changed. It's good to go (bar servicing) for the indefinite. Given that it will spend the rest of it's life in a garage between Jolly's, corrosion/deterioration will be very very slow

You have to remember that it's now 32 years old. It's done 152,000 miles.
At all points I have endeavoured to keep it all stock and original. So this will be a rare 2.7 which even rarer; will be in unmodified form.

It's easy to be an armchair critic.
