    Fair.
Stockpiling toilet rolls is purely an a-hole issue though. 😉
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

The BBC have hidden the report. Maybe they don't want to be blamed for panic buying.

Unlike fuel this is a global supply issue.

If anyone has young kids I'd be looking at buying their Christmas presents now.

That's why I put it in this thread.
Fair enough. Was merely clarifying and I wasn't suggesting you didn't know this.

My point was more get cracking with kids Xmas presents.
Maybe this is the year to dial back on Christmas.

If we ignore the social exclusion angle of Christmas last year I imagine the majority of kids got as much tat to keep them happy for a day.

I gave up buying them plastic tat a couple of years ago.

It's mainly football related stuff, boots, goals, tops etc. Stuff that they can use outside while exercising.

    Thanks for the concern though.

With my kids, we've been using Bike Club and leasing the bikes. £12 each a month for a £300 bike that we will send back when they grow out of it in a year.

We brought a few bikes and then realised like SC it's crazy to buy new.
  • Yeah I always bough my kids bikes second hand - so many get bought and barely used.

Decathlon have loads in stock. I didn't think it seemed sensible to spend shit loads on one. Especially as got one that looked this cool from Decathlon for £50

I had one of those for my daughters and I thought it was really good - certainly wouldn't be paying 4 times as much for the Islabike/Frog version.

Best balance bike we ever bought. Rear brake saves a trip over the handle bars on the next bike up with pedals that will have both brakes.

Or get the Decathlon one and wind the brake cable adjuster so it's always slightly rubbing.
