This is lovely in so many ways

I follow susannah hoffs on Twitter, cos that’s not creepy, and she’s posted a link to this cover version of a lightening seeds song. It’s just lovely. Marvellous. Definitely my favourite bangle.

Apparently! But she’s absolutely lovely in this one. And the way her voice cracks is sublime.

    😱

The bangles would have been more MOR than country though. And the lightening seeds were Brit pop through and through!!

It's even better with the sound turned off >:)

  • I used to have a bit of a thing for Ms Hoffs.

    It's back ;)

She always knew how to work the camera/viewer.
Quite surprised to see her looking directly into the camera.

Clearly a man with great taste.

That song/live performance is captivating though. I’ve a real soft spot for singers whose voice has that slight imperfection on some notes and that’s such a nice song, simple, melodic, not too long. And my word, Ms Hoffs is loveliness personified in that performance. /swoon/

Nice voice. I do like it but the song doesn't fit.

"Hoffs founded the Bangles (originally called the Bangs)..."

For a cover, Katie Melua singing 'Wonderful life' does things deep inside my trousers me:
