A wildcat did growl. A bit like me this morning trying to wake up and head off for some sunny work work. Sunny and low 20s is fine by me. And as it's now midweek, ok to enter recuperative beers after work phase.

Not many meetings today for some reason so just plain old work and maybe a bit more sorting.

Mcning etc, as Orra said its quite pleasant out didn't need a coat just my new gilet (Galibier Iozard).
Quiet day ahead appears the person I booked calls with today has taken the day as holiday. The only teams call I had everyone seems to be offline or away so I can sit like a lemon for ten minutes then go for a nap maybe.

Just because once upon a time you bunny hopped a matchbox doesn't mean to say you are somehow superior.

What constitutes a 'lazy ride' SG?
Have you managed a chat with the Tabby this time around?

Sunny today. Will have to go and replace 2 x ball cocks [fcuk off you lot] and a stop valve in one of the properties*. The joys.

*How long does a dwelling where the inhabitant had the C19 lurgy need to be left before it's safe to enter?

    Morning folks,
WFH after a couple of days in the office is good, should stop me murderising anyone at least. It's Wednesday which means pub later, although I might start now. The usual displays of idiocy have been ramped up it seems. I need other people to do their jb right so I can do mine, unfortunately almost everyone else is failing spectacularly. The beautiful assistant is the only one doing well. I've just had to hand over the necessary information for a disciplinary, not a nice thing to have to do but if someone is dragging others down with them it has to be done.

napalm, is the only way to be certain

but 3-4 days should be enough for surface contamination to degrade...

Typical air exchange in a dwelling with windows closed, is about 3hrs I think I have read in the past.

But do read up - don't take my word for it.

    Running later.

Back to a proper passtime being as aerodynamic as a breeze block the 0.000001w saving may be worth a £16 investment.

My tabbies complained today, we ran out of cat food.

    *Rant alert*

So wife saw a (private) neurologist on Monday. Says that many of her neurological issues were as a result of her heart issues, meaning that there has been a lack of blood flow to her brain and that when she finally sees the NHS cardiologist (appointment this morning) to speak to them about this. If not happy, to go back to her and she'll refer you to someone else.

Saw the cardiologist this morning and kicks off with "why were you given a face to face appointment, we normally deal with people like you on the phone". Eh what, my wife is not in charge of booking appointments?

Then "I don't know why they gave you to me, i mainly deal with arrhythmias" and then proceeds to spend most of the appointment trying to work out the history of the booking rather than talking to my wife about her issues. Then tells her, there's basically nothing wrong with her and any problems she has is because she recently had a baby. Didn't give my wife any opportunity to talk about the neurological issues raised by the other consultant and dismissed her.

This is after (just keeping to heart issues) they found:
    • Fluid round her heart
    • weirdly fluctuating heart rhythm (from 40 to 180 whilst resting)
    • a leaking heart valve (we only found this out the other day, it was found on a scan weeks ago, but no-one told her).
So, looks like we're going to have to go private. We don't have insurance (i changed jobs as this happened) and we're not made of money, so it's all a bit shit.

I think a 2nd opinion and formal complaint is required. If it was my OH I'd be screaming from the rafters and claiming negligence I suspect. Good luck in sorting this out for your other half E.

Yes, but my OH is the medical professional and knows what to do and how to do it. As much as I want to help, she's in control.

We have definite plans for a complaint.

That left me with Ben's response and a quandary. Well, it would have except he wasn't isolating because he had C19 lurgy but because he got pinged by the app.
