Cannondale Hollowgram wheels - clincher tyre mounting

I've just bought a pair of second hand carbon wheels - cannondale hollowgrams (rim brake 700c). I've struggled to take the old tyres they came with off (they were cheapish Conti's - shoot!) and have absolutely failed to mount new SWorks tyres.
I've mounted wheel/tyre combo's for over 30 years with little or no fuss but these have defeated me!
These are the first carbon wheels I've had though, so not sure if anyone else has had issues with these rims or has advice?

Get one of these and do small bits at a time

I use birzman tubeless levers if I can't get them on by hand .0
