Recommended frame and wheel size for 5'1 height

What is the recommended frame and wheel size for 5'1 height female? preferred brand is Trek.

    Hi Pal. I think most if not all Trek's in XS and S are 27.5 wheel size and M,L,XL are 29er's.

    Ideally a test ride and/or at least trying one out at a shop would be better if possible.

    Definitely a size small. My grandson was 4'11" when I bought him a size small bike with 27.5" wheels. He is now 5'2" and he is still very happy with it. The bike does not look unusually proportioned at all.
